The visible wood grain in our Direct Print On Wood gives your photo a very special look. Images with a lot of bright space will experience this effect more intensely. This is because we use a modern 7-color printing process that leaves out the white inks. In the case that none of our widely varied standard sizes from mini to extra-large suits your image, give us your individual dimensions and we’ll print your picture on wood in that exact size and format. Panoramics are also an option – set your own aspect ratio!
Wood is a natural material, and we take advantage of its particularly beautiful appearance for your picture. In order to cut it precisely and make sure it will keep its shape, we use a laboriously limed plywood for your wood print. We use birch for the outer layer, where your photo will be printed. To make sure the grain is consistent throughout your photo on wood, we have the birch peeled in single pieces from the tree.
